Hey it's me again, the guy whose name is the URL for this site. I have news both good and not-as-good. The not-as-good news is that the new album won't be out until early 2014 (I'm just a helpless target of "sorry for the wait" jokes at this point...). The good news is that it's going to be much better than it would have been had I rushed it out (which I was basically doing until I realized it was a bad move), and it's coming along quite nicely. This one's going to be more ME than before, as far as instruments go, though I'm lucky (again) to have a superb drummer helping me out -- this time it's Oren Williams from Pirate Radio.
And speaking of Pirate Radio, some more good news: we're playing at the Hotel Utah in San Francisco next Sunday December 8, on a bill with Rust & Whiskey and the Tough Brothers. And if you can think of a triple bill more manly than that, all toughness, whiskey and pirates, well, more power to you, but think about coming out to hear us instead. Adding a couple new songs to the set, and you can also admire my beautiful do-it-yourself keyboard/MacBook rig.
Oh, and keep watching this space...there won't be a new CD announcement for a little while yet, but I think I'll have something for you in December...
